poor opening and closing credits

why are the graphics so poor on the opening and closing credits? I tried jpeg, bmp ect with the same poor results.

CD+G format specification enforces low resolution of graphics, thus the resulting quality may be poor even if high quality images are used. If you want to create high resolution karaoke, please try using Karaoke Video Creator instead. It creates high resolution video files (AVI, MPEG).

I guess I wonder how the bought cd-g have good opening closing credit. but I guess it is what it is.

Factory made CD+G karaoke graphics are prepared so they look good in low resolution. You may try to do the same, and prepare 16 colors 288×192 images, so they do not have to be resized when inserted into karaoke.
