most likely from RSQ.
this is a forum for Power Karaoke software, not a hardware forum.

Problem with burning neo-g disc

by Kris » Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:12 pm

Everything goes great until when I burn the Neo-g disc. Instead of the disc being built as a neo-g disc, it creates NCDG video cd movies. I can't figure out why it's not burning into a neo-g disc. Can anyone help me?

can a neo plus g be converted to cdg

NEO G format

by mississippitom » Sat May 10, 2008 8:48 am

There is now available a piece of software to convert NEO G into Mp3 G so that they can be played on computer. The product comes from a company called ROXBOX.I downloaded the trial software and it worked perfectly. As far as I am concerned the only way that makes sense is to run Karaoke from a hard drive based system. One can purchase all different kinds of so called Karaoke Juke boxes but they are too expensive and a laptop does a good job.One caveat is that Windows Vista is buggy and I would not ever again chance doing anything like Karaoke with it.XP Pro is the way to go.

I am sorry, but we can help you with Power Karaoke software questions only.

I also created the NCDG_0#.dat files and the NAVI.inf file using rmc.exe.
Used Nero 7 to burn, using data format on a dvd+r D/L disk. All appeared to work fine, but will not play in my RSQ-NEO+g player. All I get is an
smart Navi screen with a ? mark by the files. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

It would be nice to have mp3 encoding function in Karaoke CD-G Creator. Because I'm using NEO+G disks and to create them I must have CDG + MP3 file pairs (and it would be good for archiving purproses too).

I am sorry, but we do not support Neo+G, nor I know of any converter available. What files are on the disc?

Convert Neo+G to MP3+g

By mistake, I bought a Neo+g disc ($100) ...but I don´t have the Neo+G player. Since i´m trying the Siglos Karaoke Player I would like now to convert the Neo+G to Mp3+G.

What about NEO+G ?

To make a Neo+G disk is fairly simple but takes awhile
I use Power CDG Burner to Rip the CDG disks into two files
That has a .cdg and .mp3 file format
Next you take these files and enter them into the
RMC.exe file you get from RSQ website
After finishing converting them to NEO+G format
you just take the files it created and burn them to a
DVD-R or DVD+R disk as you would burn any data disk
I used Easy Media Creator and everything worked fine
and the disk worked great in the player.
Hope this helps????

I am sorry, but our software does not support Neo+G. I cannot help you with this.

I am using the Neo-G creator software. I use Power CDG burner for other apps, but am trying to make a large compilation disk. Any tips on burning a dat file and the other data file to make it readable to a player?
