Same problem
I was also having this problem. The screen would flash the announcement screen for a second as songs were added to the rotation. Singers would get confused and ask to restart, etc. This is with .53 - an upgrade to .60 did nothing to resolve this. It seems it was fixed by me replacing my DB file with...

A suggestion
There are ways to mask the locations of folders/files so that a program or even the OS thinks that they are where you say they are. The easiest of this is the SUBST command to designate a folder as a drive letter. The Siglos database is located in the user Document folder so as long as you copy it t...

Try this
Hi Carlos - The database resides in your User Documents folder. In Vista this will default to: C:\Users\[yourname]\Documents\My Karaoke\siglos.db Because your profile got whacked your best bet would be to go to C:\Users\[yourname]\Documents and right click on MY KARAOKE and hit PROPERTIES. Click the...

Windows Vista?
If you're running Windows Vista right click on your shortcut to CD+G Burner and on the compatibility tab select to run in compatibility mode Windows XP SP2.

Yay
Thanks much. I've also been pulling hair.
Windows Vista Business 64bit w/ SP1.
Compatibility mode makes it work. Or at least I think it does. I haven't gotten to my machine yet but it burned.

Some ideas...
Some ideas are at the bottom of this page: http://www.miguelcarrasco.net/miguelcarrasco/2006/12/vista_microphon.html It seems it's a driver issue with Sigmatel on mine so you need the full real drivers vs. the default MS drivers. I'm working on this right now too but mine is still hosed because I'm ...

Re: PowerBurner Feature Request
5. FreeDB submit function to add discs that aren't yet in the database :P 8. Does the program do error correction? I'm thinking it does since it stalled on a CD that was dirty but I'm not certain. Okay - so upon reading the February 12th, 2008 blog entry is seems 5 and 8 are already implemented. Th...

PowerBurner Feature Request
These are all regarding CD+G ripping. 1. Auto Eject upon complete 2. Play a sound upon complete 3. Auto rip upon insert 4. Rip to a subfolder in the target directory based on %AlbumName%. This would make things a bit more organized in my Karaoke folder. 5. FreeDB submit function to add discs that ar...
