hi adam i have managed to complete a full disc now. the problem was when i dragged and dropped say 20 mp3s into audacity and resampled all ok but when i exported multiple they didnt replace the old mp3s but put another file with them so i had 1 cdg and 2 mp3 . the only way i can get round this is to ...

thanks for the reply adam i will briefly go through what i did firstly i select the song , then in folder tasks i extract the files which puts these on my desktop , i then drag and drop mp3 into audacity change project sample frequency to 44.1khz and then in tracks menu i resample once this is done ...
