They play as a regular .cda format with no lyrics just the music.

They can be ripped but I don't want to take the chance of it impacting the show and have everything come to a standstill if the system resources get eaten up by ripping and singers singing.

So I have no idea of where to go from here ...

I have a singer she brought in a sound choice CD and Karaoke Pro could not read it in my laptop.

Now I have Sound Choice discs from an older unit that read them fine but I can't get KP to read them at all.

What am I doing wrong? I don't want to have to rip them just to get them to play or do I ...
