something else i have found (tonight actually by accident) i undid my "show this session only" and "show history from this venue only" unchecked, the comp got really pissed off and crawled.
by checking those two and i set the number to 100 and it sped right back up.

antivirus software can wreak havoc on a/v software. perhaps the latest update from the antivirus got something. keeping your show computer off the net is a good idea as wifi drivers can also mess with the speed and sound quality (i have no idea why, but every time i turn off wifi the problem goes aw...

settings > kj > inactive screen (just under half way down)

sounds like the inactive screen option. i have a .png with my logo and the venues logo that i put as my inactive background and if there are no singers, it automatically displays. it will also display if i uncheck show announcement screens.

if you name the replaced song the same, it will be found.
eg. you replace DKG01-01 - Madonna - Like A Virgin because it was corrupted.
re-rip it, and name it exactly the same way, and put it in the same folder you had the other one.

my first thought would be how are they named.
example, if the artist is not in the artist field when they show up at the bottom of the screen, that would cause such an issue. seen it happen before, hell, i have misnamed files before and gotten that problem.
