It all depends on what you are aiming for. If you want to create DVD disc you need MPEG file (to my best knowledge). With AVI file you can create a VideoCD disc, that should be readable by any standard DVD player, so you can also try that option. You can fit a lot of songs on a DVD-R disc in a MP3-C...

In the PowerKaraoke Plus, there is a Scroll mode of text displaying (see CDG Settings dialog box). I think it is what you are looking for.

If you want to create DVD disc, you have to use MPEG files, and thus you need Power CDG to MPEG Converter. Note however, that we do not provide a software for DVD disc burning. The best way to enter the unlock code is to copy it in email you
received from us (select it with mouse and press Ctrl+C) and then to
paste into dialog box (activate unlock code edit box and press Ctrl+V).
You may also do the same for email address, as unlock code depends on it.
