if you change the tempo in the add singer dialogue, it will save it for that singer only. if you do it on the rotation management screen, it will only do it temporarily.

sorry, never did it that way, just always use the "go to next" button.

i would LOVE to see the crossfade option!!!!
along the same lines of having a second player (only way i can think of doing crossfade) is to enable it to give a preview to show singers asking if they can see or hear it first. just redirect it to a second out on the sound card.
