Re: manage rotation in remote queue

Paradigm I think what KJ Bjarne is talking about is when a request comes in from a singer and you double click on it to add to the rotation, the singer is automatically added as the next singer. I have my SKP set to add new singers "Not sooner after the following numbers of singers" which I set to 5...

Re: Wait For Singer

I am not near my machine and can't remember if there's a do this for every instance box in that box. If there is then you have to remember not to check that box or it will treat every single instance after it in the same manner and not pop up the box which I happen to like. Thanks, Danny! I suspect...

DFT

Try using the default reg. It will reset KP to its original state. Sometimes the karaoke gremlins seem to creep in and this default reg will clear them out. Let us know what happen after you reset KP.

Re: Lagging Lyrics with Visualizations

Demodave Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the visualizations, but have you tried it on different laptops? I just tried it on two different laptops and both work just fine. I'm thinking your laptop may not be able to handle the visualizations. Personally I just use a plain black backgr...

The program is working the way it should. I don't understand what kind of problem you're encountering. My version 2.2.1.12 is working just fine.

What do you mean by wait for singer? Are the songs in the que simply playing one after another and not pausing between songs?

Re: Help With Singer Pitch Settings

I think I know what you're talking about. Whenever you bring up the "Add Singer" popup and you select a singer the program will automatically highlight the first song in the singer's history and whatever that song's key is it will show in the key change. There is nothing you can do about that becaus...

I think it would be good to check for a new version of skp at startup. These youtube updates seem to happen quicker than I can keep up..

thanks,
jerry

Re: how to connect a different computer as a kiosk

Hi Coco62 welcome to Power Karaoke's forum It will be much easier to use a wireless router than an Ethernet cable. Using the router will not limit you to a specific distance from your KJ's computer and you can even have your singers send you requests from their smart phones. When using a wireless ro...

Re: MONO Setting for Playback?

DFT SKP does not convert stereo output to mono. You can normally do this with your mixer or if your mixer does not have this feature you can achieve the stereo to mono conversion using a third party equipment like a combiner. https://www.guitarcenter.com/[please do not post unlock codes]/[please do ...

Re: How do I adjust my settings so that Singer's key/ pitch adjustments are saved in their history?

DFT Yes, I'm talking about the screen that pops up when you click on the "Add Singer / Song" button on the bottom left of the "Rotation" screen. Clicking on the "Add Singer / Song" button will open the "Add Singer" popup screen. This is where you will enter your singer and their song along with any ...

You come up with some really good suggestions! I don't believe I've ever heard this one and I really like it too! Hope it's something easy for Piotr to add!

DFT

When you select your singer and a song from their list of past songs the key and tempo on the Add Singer screen will show what was saved as the last key and tempo for that particular song.

Re: How do I adjust my settings so that Singer's key/ pitch adjustments are saved in their history?

Hi DFT

Yes, whenever you use the Add Singer method SKP will override the last saved key and tempo and will save the newly entered key and tempo of the song for that particular singer. Next time you select the song for the singer SKP will use the last key and tempo you used in the Add Singer screen.
