The buttons on the bottom left of the rotation window has nothing to do with the [please do not post unlock codes] music. Have you ever tried using the reset script? It sometimes clear the little karaoke goblins that happen to affect the program. But don't forget to save your settings first.

Have you tried resetting back to default? Sometimes resetting to default clears out the goblins that happen to creep in.

How much RAM do you have installed? I have seen where inadequate RAM causes this type of freeze up.

When logged in, the "Browse By Artist" does not do it either. The key change is available. The only time the key change is not available is when someone is logged in and searches by artist name or song title and tries to submit a song. I am using Safari on my iPhone and Firefox on my PC.
