Wav files

Post by Jeremysnana1 »

I am creating cd+g files to store on a thumb drive to use on a portable karaoke machine.

Why doesn’t the soundtrack convert back to mp3 again once the vocals have been removed? Unless I am doing something wrong, I have to go into a audio converter and convert from wav to mp3, to go with the matching cd+g file.

Also, what is the pk2 file, and how is is used? Is it necessary to keep it?

There is no conversion back to MP3. You are not doing anything wrong.

PK2 files contain all data about a karaoke project, thus it is possible to easily modify it if necessary. However, if you do not feel a need for it, you do not have to keep them.
