Ripping CD+G Music from VCD? Can it be done?

I have many VCD's in my collection and am trying to get some of the songs ripped from them but when I rip them then burn them using Power CD+G Burner all I get is noisy static .

Any ideas? I find it odd that it detects the song but won't rip it.

BTW I have tried to rip from regular CDG discs and they work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid it is not possible to burn video files from a VCD disc into a CD+G format.

Vcd files are video files. You just copy the files and name them. Be aware that the first file is usually the index file for the disc.
