Last track of CDG several minutes too long, and extra Data Track

Post by SteveThomas59 »

I've been ripping my collection of Sunfly CDGs (I will top-up my ProDub licence before I use them in anger) and on some discs the last music track has several minutes of silence after the music finishes, sometimes with a crackle at the end of the silence, and there is an extra Data Track. The FreeDB library still recognises the disc, so maybe it is expected. Is it a fault with the disc, my computer, the cd drive or the software? I don't remember this happening when I had my Tricerasoft CDG Ripper. On the discs that seem wrong, Windows Media Player reports no extra Data Track

Please switch on "Enable multisession disc detection" option in Settings dialog box, and then give it a try.
