I`m getting acquainted with the program, before using it publicly.
I have connected a second monitor to my laptop, which works just fine.
I`m using a mixture of zip, CDG & Avi files from a hard drive.

The Avi files play back perfectly, but the lyrics with the others seem to be slow and slightly behind the audio track.

Any ideas what`s wrong & how I can fix it please?

Thanks.

Ian.

Are you talking about the lyrics on the preview screen? If that is where the lyrics seem to fall behind, try going to the settings screen then select the "KJ" icon then adjust the preview screen update speed. You may have to play around a bit to get the speed that you want.

Hi!
Thanks for replying.

I`m sorry, but I`m not sure what you mean by the "Preview" screen.

I`m talking about when playing a track, the lyrics displayed, run slightly behind the audio track.

If the area where the lyrics are displayed is the "Preview" screen, then yes, but I can find no mention of a "Preview" screen in the user manual.

If you still think what you suggested might help, I`ll give it a try, but why should Avi tracks not be affected?

Thanks.

Ian.

Just had a thought - could it be lack of memory?
I only have 256Mb - perhaps I should upgrade it.

What do you think?

There is a 'Preview screen update speed' option in the KJ Settings tab (File -> Settings -> KJ). Try to set the greater value there, for example 1000.

Hi Adam.

Had a play where you suggested and it seems to have improved the problem somewhat.

Thanks.

Ian.
