I think I know what might be wrong. Right now in the export only the last performance of the song by the particular singer is included. I have added an option to include all performances -- there is a checkbox in Export History window for that in this version:

https://www.powerkaraoke.com/download/2 ... -setup.exe

Please let me know if this works better.

Piotr, I installed v52 and when I went to the Export History popup and tried unchecking the box SKP froze. I emailed you the log and hope that it helps.

i can see why it froze, unless you search for a singer first, it will populate every instance of every song by every singer.

Piotr, in this version (.52) i am not able to search in "singer name (without venue)".
search under "all" works fine.

i'm curious as to the intended purpose of this idea. showing the date of each instance a singer performed a particular song as opposed to the last time and how many total times.

Thank you, Piotr and everyone else that helped with this I have been having trouble with this for a while and was thinking it was me not having a setting right. once I noticed it I did notice that I have lost songs from my history and just didn't notice it because I had so many in it. I really hope this takes care of it and I will be watching for it. Thanks again too all

Piotr, At last nights gig I got to try this for the 1st time and it seems to be ok as far as not deleting songs from a singers history. But now it goes the other way I would add a song to a singer to sing and then open up the next singer in line and it would add the same song to that singer's history. I then tried adding a song to singers history and opening up a singer out of line and the song would be added to that singer so it wasn't the next singer in line but the next singer opened to add a song that the new song would also appear in. It did not do it all the time but happened at least half a dozen times in my 4-hour gig.
Thanks

Dana48457, can you record me a movie that would show how it happens? It would help a lot.

Will work on it while I am off for the next two weeks to see if I can catch it. Like I said it doesn't happen all the time just every now and then and I know those are the hard ones to catch or find. Will set up here at home and see if I can make it happen. a lot easier than when working with singers.

ok...i see what's happening, anbd here is what is really going on.

the selected or searched for song will go to the top by design. this way you can search for a song, then when the singer goes "great, you have it, i'll sing it next" you don't have to select them then search again.

the song is not actually added to the next singers history.
close the add singer window then reopen. you will see it was not actually added, it just stayed at the top while the window was open.

now... that said, you can turn this feature off.

open add singer/song
click the gear on the bottom right
the first option says "keep current song after singer change"
change it to "no"

now it should act as you want it to.
