Long wait between songs

Siglos Karaoke Professional is inexplicably leaving long pauses between songs. I'm left waiting 30 seconds or more for the next queued song to start playing. Manually hitting the Start button circumvents the problem.

I tried reinstalling the latest version (2.2.1.12), but the problem persists.

Any idea what's going on? Is there a setting that controls this behaviour?

are you meaning when you have it set to automatically start the next song?
if so, have you checked the duration in settings?

Well, that was dumb. I thought I went through all the settings thoroughly, but somehow I missed the very obvious "singer announcement duration", which was set at 33 seconds for some reason. Sorry to waste your time, everybody.

Andrew, it's never a waste of time to ask a question. You never know if someone else (could be a newb) is encountering the same "problem." Never hesitate to ask questions on this forum! We're glad the fix was a simple one and Piotr didn't have to add a fix. Happy Holidays!!
