Karaoke Video Creator - error 126

When I try to generate a mpg encoded file, I get an error 126.
The pop-up says that erdmpg-5.3.dll is missing.
I have that file in these directories:
c:\program files\doblon\power video creator
c:\program files\doblon\power CD+G video converter
c:\windows\system32
The file is 180 kB, dated 09/03/2007 15:59
I have installed k-lite codec pack (klcodec583f.exe).
PVC is version 2.2.3 registered this year.
I'm running it on a netbook without net connection.
Win XP
avi generation works.

Solution?

Oh - the same source files works great in
Power Video Karaoke from which I upgraded.
I use none of the fancy new features in KVC.

You may try version 2.2.6 of Karaoke Video Creator and see if it works any better.

Nice! Now I can generate MPG.
What about changing number of lyrics lines via the screen event ->
Text settings feature (bug)?
Changing from four to five lines doesn't work, I still get four lines.
I know: Change to six lines, and insert
a hardspaced line in top and bottom for each screen,
then replace the bottom hardspace line on the two or three
screens that need five lines.
Or insert hardspaced lines to put the fifth line on its own screen.
