Run Time Error

Post by gizzer »

Some files that I try to play will cause this message to pop up and then the whole program shuts down
Run Time Error!
Program:C\Program Files\Doblon\SiglosPro\SiglosPro.EXE
This Application Has Requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsual way.
Please contact the Application support team for more info.
Can anyone explain what is causing this to happen?

Please try to enable 'Use compatible MP3 decoding' option in File -> Settings -> General.

Adam,
I tried what you suggested but I'm still having the same problems, infact now I can't play any song at all.
The screen displays the error message then the program shuts down and I have to restart from scratch.

I have loaded the latest program,I made sure I am running an up todate Direct X,I also reloaded into the play data base,I even reloaded my music library.
I'm still getting nothing but the runtime error that shuts down the program
Please give me some direction so that I can use this.
Thanks inadvance

Can you please:

1. Run the program
2. Click in the program main window
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+L
4. Message "Log enabled" should appear
5. Restart the program
6. Follow the actions leading to the problem
7. Exit the program
8. Go to My Documents (or Documents on Vista) -- you will find "sigloslog.txt" file there. Please email it to me.

Did you try to enable 'Use compatible MP3 decoding' option in File -> Settings -> General?

:( OK,
I have gone through each and every one of your suggestions and I have had limited results.I had to delete the data base and reload ALL of my library again. This allowed me to use the program for a short time,(less than 2 hours) then it crashed again.I'm now in the process of reloading my data base. What I need to know is what is causing this to happen? And what can be done to prevent this from happing again.I have invested a large amount of money in the best equipment,a large library and what I thought would be the best operating program for the type of show that I want to be known for,but so far I would not take a booking for any reason,in the fear of not being able to fufill the contract.
I need help
Thanks in advance
