Karaoke Pro: Singer Announcement Screen Stays On Screen

Occasionally, the text of the singer announcement screen stays on the screen while the track plays. So both the lyrics and announcement text are on the screen simultaneously.

I am using the most current version of Karaoke Pro on a Win 8.1 64-bit PC.

I have noticed that also but not very often mostly with a restart of the song is when I see it. FYI

Demodave, can you please email me your logfile? To do this:

1. Run the program
2. Click in the program main window
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+L
4. Message "Log enabled" should appear
5. Restart the program
6. Follow the actions leading to the problem
7. Exit the program
8. Go to My Documents (or Documents on Vista) -- you will find "sigloslog.txt" file there. Please email it to me.

try changing your renderer as well. i have that problem if i use the renderer 7. changed to renderer 9 and problem gone.
that will get you going, but do still send in the log that was requested so they can see what is causing it.

Sorry for my English - but what is rendere, and how to change?

I have the same problem occationally, very anoying when it happens - It leaves us looking like amateurs my solution is a very fast restart of the program - but I believe it's not the best way.

I happends to me in a kind of freeze situation - I press the start button, and nothing happens - then I press the play button in the player, and the last track is playing Again, and the double screen thing happends Again.

I stop the song, restart siglos, and it Works fine Again.

It showed up for the first time, with update 2023 or maybe just befor that

Please go to File -> Settings -> Display. There is 'video renderer' setting in the top right corner of the dialog box.

I have the lingering announcement screen also. But I have also noticed lately that the announcement screen sometimes doesn't appear at all, or it just appears briefly when you hit "start" to begin the track. I'll have a look and see which renderer I'm using

The new update will be available on Monday and hopefully will get rid of this.
