2.2.1.6 should fix the problem with apostrophy (sort of, at least, as DON'T will also bring DONT, but this is at the moment the best that can be done).

I cannot reproduce the problem with key change. Can someone send me the log file of this and which steps (ie. which search button) were used in the browser? Thanks!

1) the apostophy is fine working that way, and to my mindit should work that way i think, here is why.
apostrophy, coma, period, exclamation point, question mark...
if all are ignored by the system, it allows singers to look up
"dont fear the reaper" and get the result.
Or look up "R.E.M." or "REM" and get the same result.
kind of like "and" or "&" are both used, but the singer doesn't think to try the other. most will not use an ampersand, just the word "And". if the system ignores those, it's easier. for example
"Brooks & Dunn". if a singer types in "Brooks And Dunn", they get no songs returned. making "And" and "&" ignored by the system or interchangable, problem solved.

people are usually several drinks in before they even look at karaoke, so their lack of normal thinking and problem solving ability requires us to eliminate the hurdles for them pre-emtively.

2) i am sending a log of what i did for the key change error. it works fine on my phone, but not on the desktop. BUT>>>>
if it is a song in MY SONGS, the key change is available.
to reproduce...
log in with your credentials
click "search for a song"
search for anything or just grab something there, this makes no difference.
the key change will not be available though the tag is visible.

Paradigm, what browser are you using? Chrome?

hey piotr, did you put the new one in the wrong download slot? I see it for karaoke player, not skp. Or I am early and you haven't finished yet.

Exactly what you said Fixed now, SKP 2.2.1.6 is there now.

in Chrome, the key change still does not show.


and this happens ONLY when logged in and searching, selecting from your own song history does not cause it.

When logged in, the "Browse By Artist" does not do it either. The key change is available. The only time the key change is not available is when someone is logged in and searches by artist name or song title and tries to submit a song. I am using Safari on my iPhone and Firefox on my PC.

Got it. Version 2.2.1.7 should bring the key changer back.

Not yet. We are working on a website overhaul, which obviously takes longer than expected, but should be completed next week. Then we have couple of things to do in Creator software. And then back to SKP.

just found out that the trailing space after sinnger name bug is not resolved.
once i removed it from her name the login went fine.

I was trying to put together song collections and noticed it would work fine from a pc, but when you try to access it from a phone the first page was good, scrolling would revert back to all songs and not just the collection.
