Power CD&G Burner - Database

Post by mbarefield »

I'm in the midst of ripping and find that many of my CDGs are not in any of the databases available. I've notice that other Ripping Software will allow you to access your music book software database, e.g. Music Book Deluxe. I wonder how hard it would be to implement that in this software. Ripping is a tedious task anyway, when you have to then type in the track names and artists, it's nearly intolerable.

When I enter a CD+G cd, it doesn't return any of the artist information when I rip it. Shouldn't it be able to read and get the data off the physical media (cd)?

It just shows Track 1, Track 2, etc.

Btw, this is the free version. It may be different in the full version.

The data are not present at the disc. The titles can be retrieved from the FreeDB database if the disc is registered in it. Please make sure to enable FreeDB name lookup in the Settings dialog box.
