How Can I Edit an Existing CD+G, add a title and save it.

Post by SQLServerGuy »

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

I must be just slow. All I want to do is to IMPORT an existing CD+G song, add a 10 second title JPG and Write it back out (I hope that is not pirateing) .... but I have 100 to do in the next 6 ho 1urs. I do not have tome to re-sync them right now.

I understand how to start with a sound track. I understand how to import lyrics (I do not have time for that right now).

I understand how to add a title from Adams e-mail. Actually what I have done so far is import the music, Add a title ... and NOTHING.... it will not play or anything (Maybe I need to go to eval mode)

i KNOW it is possible because people do it all the time with that OTHER product (well, they add a slide show behind the lyrics with the first slide being their logo) ....

I have even seen an option to import a CD+G .... but I could not play it once I imported it.

Actually what I need is a week to play with the product but I only have 6 hours before the next show.

This Friday and Saturday I will have all day to work on this but if someone could give me a Jump Start That would be very helpful.

I'm sorry, but it is not possible to edit extisting CDG file. The only solution is to create a new CDG file with original soundtrack.

Very Disappointed But this may be the best way.

OK. So the thing that I want to get around is having to sync the lyrics all the time. If I can create the logo, IMPORT THE ENTIRE EXISTING CD+G AND write it out again then that will be basically the same as creating a new one. OK... as long as I do not have to spend an hour re-syncing the lyrics on 1000 CD+G's then that is fine.

I am going to try that this weekend. I am on call right now (until noon tomorrow) so it is not practical.

Thanks for at least answering my questions. Some of your competitors do not even respond to questions. I will buy from you from now on.
