Song Importing using Parsing Rule

I am thinking of purchasing the software for my karaoke shows however not all of my songs are formatted by disk/track/artist/title/rule. I have seen posts that say that you can import songs using the file name but does not say exactly how to do it. How do you do that.

It would be similar to Sax & Dotty's all in one import feature.

Please explain step by step. Thank you in advance!

Thank you but I read that prior to posting this and that did not answer my question.

Many of my songs do not fit any of the parsing rules and I do not want to edit hundreds of files one by one to use this program.

Is there a way to import using just the whole file as one?

Yes, but then only the File field of the database will be filled in.

Please note, you may type in your separators in the 'Name parsing rule' fields. You are not limited to those in drop-down lists.
