When i am starting to run SKP the search is faster than before but once i load a few songs and hit the start button the program just sets there working and the scrolling messages stops and it sets there and sets there sometimes close to a min the the song starts and place ok. when song is over and hitting start again it still takes a long time to start new song but not as long. I am running ver 4.0 with win 10 ext hard drive with songs on it. is there a setting to speed up the starting of the song? is anyone else seeing this?
Dana, what version of SKP are you using? I am not encountering the problem you are. Maybe you'll need to reset SKP to default using the default script. I hope Adam or Piotr has a better solution to your problem.
Hornet as stated in post I am running version 4.0 the latest and greatest. is just seems to be the very 1st song that is the really bad one. after that it seems to be just a little bit slow but nothing I couldn't live with. but 30 to 40 sec on the 1st one is not ok.
