Jumbled Lyrics
Good Morning - Currently have the latest version of Power Karaoke, CD+G Burner, Version 2.0.16. Have had issues with jumbled lyrics when playing on our CD player, JVC. We always play on computer after burning is complete, lyrics are great, no jumbling. We have purchased the suggested TDK CDR's, still the same issue. Have also emailed with Adam on several occasions, but all of his suggestions are not fixing the issue. Thank you Adam for all your suggestions, appreciate your time and direction. Still need assistance, direction, HELP so we can continue to use this awesome software.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Jumbled Lyrics
have you tried plating the disc directly on the computer? not the file, but the actual disc?
if it works there, then it is an issue with the JVC. could be as simple as a speck of dust on the lens.

Re: Jumbled Lyrics
poor typing on my part... i meant playing.
running Siglos Karaoke allows you to play directly from a disc as if it was a player like your JVC.
If the graphics are messed up on the copmputer playing through Siglos, it's the disc.
if the graphics are fine on the computer playing through Siglos, it's the JVC.

We always play back, directly after burning on our Karaoke builder CDG Player( on computer), Never any jumbled words there? Sounds like we should get a new CDG player, our JVC is older - any recommendations?, and Thank you again for your responses.

Re: Jumbled Lyrics
why not just play off your computer? that is how we do it as pros.
if it works that way, go for it.

CDG player is hooked up to our stereo system in a different room. Is there a player you would suggest?
Again thank you for you responses.

Re: Jumbled Lyrics
this would be the closest to the JVC you had
https://www.amazon.com/VocoPro-DVX890K- ... B002N4G7QW
it plays, but if you have a laptop you could play off that too. not a LOT of hardware options out anymore because most karaoke manufacturers have stopped producing physical discs completely and moved to digital a-la-carte mp3+g downloads.

Re: Jumbled Lyrics
Jvc players as well as rsq players have notoriously been poor playback with recorded discs. Seems like they only like the original professional discs.klberry906 wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 8:20 am We always play back, directly after burning on our Karaoke builder CDG Player( on computer), Never any jumbled words there?
