Version 2.3.7.17 Fails and closes after only about half a minute
I have recently installed Siglos on my Acer Nitro. Everything work great for about a week. Yesterday it stopped working and closes itself down after only about 30 seconds. I have tried everything and read all the other posts about this matter.
I thought it maybe a problem with Windows 10. So I tried installing it on my Windows 11 Predator. I have the same problem. Siglos wants to close itself down. I haven't even attached a database or activated with my key.
I can't remember my password and have requested a new one to be sent. For some reason one hasn't been sent. I have tried anytime on different computers any times. Has my account been closed before the 12 months has ended? email: [email protected]
I have used Siglos for many years and love the software. I hope someone can help.

i just started getting this problem today myself, had to cancel my show. no idea what happened. both computers do it so it's not the computer....but what could have made SKP do this when the computer has been shut off since Thursday?

Will have a look when I get home, but cna anyone confirm that thier .Net Framework was updated by Windows update. Does windows logs show anything about .net Framework crashing?

that's outside my wheelhouse as far as technical knowledge lol.

I'm having the same problem here with both my laptops.
One is running Windows 7, the other is Windows 10.
I was late starting my show on Saturday while I solved the problem.
The show was saved by good old Winamp with the cdg plugin - FREEWARE
Ran my whole show with Winamp yesterday as no reply from support.

Seems like more and more people are having this same problem. For those of you who still have a working version of Siglos I would recommend not allowing your computer to update to version 2.3.7.17
Fortunately I still have an older version 2.3.7.4 working fine on my backup machine with the same Windows 10 updates that have stopped Version 2.3.7.17 from working. I'm hoping it holds it together for my first gig back after our latest Covid lockdown.
I also hope that Siglos will be able to fix this bug without to much work. Maybe for now, they could post an earlier version that works on there website, for us to use while they are sorting out the bugs in version 2.3.7.17.

I am sorry for the issue, it has been resolved in 2.3.7.18.
