mp4

Post by lobomike61 »

Why is mp4 no longer supported by siglos? Partytime Karaoke tracks no longer play correctly. No lyrics on screen but the music plays.

This always needs to be installed after installing the actual Siglos software?

No. You just need to install it once.

That's what I meant... after installing the main software, this software has to also be installed so MP4 karaoke tracks will work, right?

Seems like this would be included in the install files of the professional version install files

Some users prefer to use their own video codec setup for video files playback. This is why video codec installation from the codec pack available on our website is optional.

OK, thanks.

I'd use what you guys provide since you all have tested it to be compatible with your software

I tried to download the codex last night and mp4 files as an option did not appear in the general settings. What did I do wrong?

you are doing nothing wrong, there will not be a new setting.
just having them installed will allow Siglos to automatically utilize the codecs.
just queue up an mp4 in the rotation and run like usual, they should play now.

This Codex worked for a brief period of time and now ill not play the mp4. I get the announce screen and the music plays but nothing except the announce screen shows on the monitor. Please help. A lot of our Spanish music is on mp4 from partytime. This was not a problem until about six months ago MP4 played just fine. Please either restore me to a version that will play mp4 or give me some way to fix it. My customers are very mad that they can't sing songs that they used to or any new songs that I download from Partytime.

AI Video Creator

Post by ReinersKaraoke »

My problem is that with my old PC it takes almost 20 minutes to create a file in AI Video Creator. Do you have a recommendation which CPU I should use, I have read that an Intel i5 is faster than an i7. I look forward to your information.

Are we discussing creating a video or using AI functions?

Creating a 1080p video at 25 fps on an i7 processor should take about half the video's runtime to process.

In contrast, AI processing is more intensive. On the same computer, it would take 2–3 times the length of the audio to process.

Yes, we are talking about creating an mp4 video, so would an i7 processor be suitable? would a graphics card with a powerful GPU and large memory be an advantage?
