Maybe it has additional context to it? Basically such files should not cause freezing, this is why I would like to get to the bottom of it. Will keep you updated on our progress.

Paradigm, this was it! I have found a bug in the ZIP handling library we use that was causing infinite loop. It will be fixed in the next build. Thank you!

another small issue, the "run update automatically" in the live folder is checked, but in this build it does not run automatically.
i can manually run it with no problem (slightly slower than before but i assume this is due to the time scanning).
clicking the "run now" button works as expected.

freezes

I have had this problem since version 40 I think. It just freezes randomly. I run 4 to 5 shows a week. Some weeks no freeze, others 2 or 3. I just restart program through task manager and it works fine. I do not use bumper music or background pictures. I also have the occasional not showing current singer splash screen unless I manually hit the go to next button. I have run the reset script and am running version 2062 now. Not a big deal, just annoying.

that's odd, the new update took care of all my crashing issues, have not had a single problem of any kind since.
just for a little troubleshooting, are you using custom announcement screens?
also, the announcement screens you normally use (just whatever default one you are suing) is it a picture, and is so, what format and size?

Same here, I have not had a problem since the update.

Did have one crash and have sent email with log where it was captured. I am still having problems with the rotation changing. If I have someone who is up to sing and they are not available at the time and I disable them and move them down in rotations it seems to mess up the entire rotation where I have to disable everyone and enable them one at a time to get the rotation back to where it should be. Only working a couple weekends a month now so don't see these faults as often as I was before Email was from Carbon_Cowboy@yahoo.com

Dana, I would appreciate a screenshot of rotation before and after the change, because I am not sure how to reproduce this bug.
