1) yeah, i did registry reset but i still have issues i can't pinpoint (my volume always resets to 100% on fill in but 0% for karaoke every time i open Siglos) but only on one machine...to make it weirder...they are the same computers...exact replicas in every aspect yet this silly bug is on one even after a registry reset. almost like one part of the registry is not getting completely reset.
2)i know that works to get rid of them, somehow i have a lot of them. i can't figure out HOW they are happening to begin with. how doe s a singer get put into history without ever singing anything? even more so, how does a singer with no name who never sang get saved in history? i wish i knew how i got them there in the first place so i stopped doing it.
i've sent Piotr logs and my DB so i know he will get it figured out.

i'm not sure anymore, so here are two from that machine.
two logs, to show the recurrence of it (it automatically created a second after closing)
on opening, the volume slider is at 30% (where i want it to be), but the actual volume is 100% (when i lower it manually it drops volume drastically and if i use shortcut keys is responds normally, but from 100% down)

Piotr do you have the latest codecs? Also, I notice the column widths in the rotation window is still changing. If you open the settings, I notice that when I close it the "next" time column width gets a little smaller.Piotr wrote:Version 2.0.68 is up. It should fix the background video bug, but you need to download and install the latest version of codecs.
Also we worked on the volume problem, please let me know if it is still happening.
You should get prompt from the program if codec installation is needed. The link is this: http://www.powerkaraoke.com/src/download-codec.php
I have to admit I forgot about the column widths, we will fix it in the next iteration.

singer announcement resolution....awesome!!!
my screens are made at 1280x720 and now they look exactly like they do in photoshop. i could not ask for better, thank you.
the volume is still an issue, but the karaoke volume did come in at 100%, however the fill in did as well (it's set to 30%).
did not have a chance yet to try the background video yet but i will report back when i do.
and a thought on the codecs, what about posting them on the download page like another app?

OK since I didn't get the prompt I'm assuming my codecs are good to go. The column width and volume problem is just a minor distraction, but when you can get to it I'm sure everyone will appreciate it. Thanks for the work Piotr!Piotr wrote:You should get prompt from the program if codec installation is needed. The link is this: http://www.powerkaraoke.com/src/download-codec.php

Another thing, just like Paradigm suggested, how about a page on your website that has all the necessary programs like the codecs and default regs. It will be like a one stop shop for extras that your customers can go to for their downloads.

Paradigm, I worked a lot on this and cannot find what else can be done. What I suspect is a codec problem which strangely did not go away with our installation. So please try the following:
1. Download, install and run Codec Tweak Tool from https://www.codecguide.com/download_other.htm
2. Go to 'MS Codec Tweaks' (bottom right) and disable first 4 no-64bit items (Audio decodec, video decoder, Mpeg4s and Mpeg43)
3. Go to 'Preferred decoders' (bottom left) and choose FFDShow there for H.264, xvid, divx, MP4V, H.265, MPEG-2 and MPEG-1.
Please let me know if this did the trick.
