Hello Doblon,
I found out that when i create a avi video with a mp3 audio track that is longer in time (even a few seconds) then the background video the video creator crahes at the progress window without a error message.
When i cut the mp3 file so it is shorter in time there is no problem.
I use the most up to date version of video creator with win7 64bits.
The codecs are from the k-lite mega pack.
I remember that at the older version of video creater it didnt crash and the end of the bg video was in a shirt loop till the mp3 ended.
Next to this it is workable and i really enjoy making clips with the video creator.

It definitely should not happen. What format is the background video?

I am unable to reproduce the problem, so it must be a combination of files you are using. Can you please send them to me to
info@powerkaraoke.com ? You may use service like wetransfer.com if files are too large.

The bg video files are in avi 720x576 same as the output file. 4000kbps 25fps with original audio. And the mp3s are cbr. With different bitrates and sample frequencies.
When i cut the audio lemgth it works so i dont have an example right now. When i find files that produce this problem ill sent the avi, mp3 and project save file

Please try this version -- it seems to work fine on my test W10 system (clean W10 installation with just the codecs installed):

With this new version it still crashes when I create the same file with the uncut .mp3.

Can you please try installing our codec pack instead of K-Lite?

Also with the codec installed and rebooted i have the same results.
Probably cause the videos are rendered with the klite codec pack.
I sometimes use avs video convertor to convert to different resolutions or corel video studio to edit clips.
For adobe audition i need .avi cause i use this to synq the audio with the clip.
Most software recommend the klite codec packs so they should also work with the karaoke vidoe creator i think.

It should not matter, as on our test machines everything works properly. I will dig some more, will let you know of the results.

You may want to install the latest codec pack as well at:

With these installed it's still the same, last weeks I made a lot of clips without problems because I cut the audio file or extended the video clip with blanks.
With the codec pack you provided also AVS Video converter keeps creating a AVI file till infinity on the example file, and I choose for K-Lites codec pack cause it's best supported with Virtual DJ and I want to have one system.
Sometimes I also use Corel Video Studio to edit video clips and this also works perfect with K-Lite.
I don't think it is my computer

cause I use HP Elitebooks with a 3rd generation i5.
