CD+G to Video not recognizing external cd drive

CD+G to video is not recognizing my external cd drive in the device drop down. I can navigate to it through the "Files from hard Drive" button and it works with Power CD+G Burner as well as other conversion programs.
Any tricks?

Which versions of Power CD+G to Video and Power CD+G Burner are you using?

Version 2 both up to date as of yesterday.

Can you please give this version a try:

If this does not work, please confirm that you are seeing your CD on Rip tab in Power CD+G Burner, not only on Burn tab.
