You need Karaoke CD+G Creator or Creator Pro (you may always get the regular and upgrade if there is a need for it) to create songs. It will also convert MIDI to WAV.
To play on your PC you would need Siglos or Siglos Professional. To create DVD you would have to use Karaoke DVD Burner.
If you do not need to create CD+G discs, then there is no need for you to buy Power CD+G Burner.
