Siglos can't open MP4 video files any more!

I'm using Siglos 2.0.70 on a Win 10 laptop, and starting last weekend, Siglos is taking longer and longer to open an mp4 video file.
These are the same video files that my singers sent me a long time ago (their own karaoke songs) and that Siglos has been able to open and play with no problem, until recently.
Starting about a month ago, Siglos has taken longer and longer to open these same files that it had no issues opening before. By last weekend, it's take over 5 minutes to open a file - completely killing my show! The little blue circle spins and spins (the Win10 wait icon) and the rest of the Siglos UI stops responding.
I have to either wait out the 5+ minutes for the song to begin, or force stop Siglos by using Task Manager.
I've used Siglos 2.0.70 since it came out more than a year ago, and the video mp4 files are the same ones that has been working, so I don't understand what has changed?? Except for the Windows updates that I'm forced to accept, of course.
PS. Siglos can run mp3g files just fine, no delays. HELP!!
