Get Help & Advice on Installing & Using Karaoke Software by Power Karaoke

I have just installed power cd+g player pro.
It works perfect apart from I can not get the microphone to work.It is plugged in to the mic in on my sound card, but I can not get any sound out of the speakers when I speak into the mic.I know the mic works ok. can you let me know what the problem could be.

Please check your soundcard settings in the Windows Mixer. Make sure the Microphone is enabled.

the mic is enabled in the soundcard mixer but it still will not work

I can get the mic to record ok using sound recorder, so i know the mic is ok. should the software switch on the mic as the program runs as it does not seem to be enabling the mic

Power CD+G Player Pro does not use microphone -- if you enable it in Windows it will be available in the Player.
