Siglos Professional suddenly becoming slow

Post by 1okedoke »

Hello, Suddenly my Siglos Professional program has become very slow, showing the blue spinning wheel when searching for a song etc.
Could the latest Windows update cause this?
Should I go back to default settings or buy the latest Professional update thanks?

Please do the following:

1. Run the program
2. Click in the program main window
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+L
4. Message "Log enabled" should appear
5. Restart the program
6. Follow the actions leading to the problem
7. Exit the program
8. Go to My Documents (or Documents on Vista) -- you will find "sigloslog.txt" file there. Please email it to [email protected].

Go to Settings then click on KJ adv in the left column. In the Playback section look for Wait time before allowing 'Go To Next' (in seconds).

Hi there, still having problems with new release: mp4s won't play properly, when I work behind the scenes( addings singers, searching for songs etc ) Siglos Professional is so slow, can't click onto any windows opened. I have reinstalled the version, gone back to an older version, reinstalled the video codec application and installed the latest one too.
Everything was fine a week a go with the version I was using, then the problems started. Don't know what has caused this!
My laptop is 8 years old .Could a Windows update cause this thanks? Maybe time for a new laptop.???Any suggestions please.

Hey, just to see if it is windows causing something, could could try doing a CHKDSK and an SFC scan. Both of which are done with powershell or command prompt.

If you're tech savvy, here are some helpful links to complete these checks:
https://www.avg.com/en/signal/how-to-use-chkdsk-windows

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/top ... 6e85d4094e

If you've never done these before, please read the full articles before doing anything so you understand the process and that you don't mess something up.
