When connected to wifi @ venues, how much does the quality of the connection affect the overall performance of SKP? Does it only affect performance when pulling or downloading songs from YouTube or does it affect the whole program?

Siglos Karaoke Professional requires a Wifi connection (or cable connection) when kiosk mode is used, and/or when downloading songs from YouTube, thus when the connection is poor, performance of these features may suffer.

If you're able, use your phone as a hotspot for your host PC only. Through experience, I've found that "house" Wi-Fi will generally be slow as all get out- whereas my phone's data service offers good speeds and allows everything to work smoothly. I also advise customers to use their data plans on their phones to surf the portal if the venue's Wi-Fi gives them trouble.
