One question though -- does the crash appear also if you disable scrolling message completely?

It only crashes when I have "use slower scroll" enabled. It also slows everything down (such as trying to open the add singer screen will take forever to load). The words on the scroll don't show up at at all without it enabled.

Update, 2.4.4.2 seems to have fixed the issue. Will continue testing. I have no issue with karaoke tracks not playing. Please note that all my files are mp3+g and I can't speak for those that use mp4 format.

OK, I got my hands on a computer that crashed (it was an AMD/Radeon configuration) and the fix is in 2.4.4.3.

It should also work fine without 'Use slower scrolling message' option enabled.
