Song Properties Tick Box

Would it be possible to add a tick box in the edit song/song properties dialog screen to automatically change the physical file name when you make a change to that entry in the database? I know you can click locate and go find the file and change it manually. I just figure a tick box would be more efficient. I fix things as I go while working at my shows.

i must be doing something wrong. when i click locate it just takes me to the karaoke music folder, it does not seem to find the song itself, just the directory

This is because it is impossible to select the file in our file chooser window. The name is there, but the file is not selected.

I have modified this a little, now there are two buttons, Locate and Edit. Edit works like it did so far, Locate opens the folder outside of Siglos and selects the file.

Please try version 2.4.4.39, I will make it official tomorrow.

I like that it highlights the song in the folder now. Thank you for that.

The only time I've had it go to a random folder was when I moved the file itself or renamed the folder and I need to redirect it from the database.

So I was thinking that when you go to edit the properties of a song in the 'Song Details' window, that in that there could be a tick box or even maybe a button that would synchronize the filename with whatever you have corrected in the those fields

I believe that's what they're asking for. If you do start working on this, I use 'DiscID-Track - Artist - Song' for my tracks and would certainly like to see an option to set the default rule for this feature.
