Wish I had never bought this program. It recordes my voice but no music, so what good is it. I wish I could get a refund or an exchange on some of your other software. I have your burner and it is great. But Siglos isn't better so I took it out. I bought it for the recording end of it . It just doesn't do what I thought it would.

Please note, you may record the voice with soundtrack, if you set Mix in for recording in the Recording Properties of the Windows Mixer.

However, different solution is recomended. You may mix the soundtrack with vocal in post production phase using the software like Audacity (it is free). Doing it that way you will be able to adjust the level of the recorded vocal agaist soundtrack to your liking. The desired effect will be much easier to achieve than during live mixing, since it is hard to mix and sing at the same time.

I'm still using powerkaraoke player and use a camcorder to tape people doing karaoke. I import the file into a windows pc and create a dvd and an audio cd of people's performance. I thought about using some program to record folks directly by using the laptop but haven't done it yet. This way folks can see their performance on a tv or pc by watching the dvd and they can listen to their performance in their car by using the audio cd. I'm sure using a camcorder isn't the best method but I figured my laptop's hard drive is too small to use it.
