installed aspi drivers, but player pro still can't find them

Hi

I eagerly downloaded and installed the new Power CD+G Player Pro demo.

After initially receiving the 'could not initialize CD reading module -check aspi drivers (8, 8 )' message after starting the application I went to adaptec.com and installed the aspi drivers.

when I run the adaptec aspichck utility it tells me the drivers are now installed. However, I continue to get the same 'drivers not found' message when trying to run Power CD+G player. I tried reinstalling CD+G, rebooting, etc.

System: Sony Vaio laptop with Windows XP SP2 and a DVD player in the cradle.

aspi driver info:
ASPI32.SYS 4.71.2
WOWPOST.EXE 4.6
WINASPI.DLL 4.6
WNASPI32.DLL 4.71.2

Thanks for your help. If I can get this to work I plan on purchasing several copies.

It looks like you are not using the latest version of our software -- this problem was know with version 1.0.1. If it is not the case please post back.

I am indeed using version 1.01, which I downloaded yesterday from download.com.

They are still offering the out-of-date version of the program.
