Sound Tool Edit fails to burn with CDRWin

I have a CDG bin file that I edited with the Sound Tool so it plays one semi-key higher and 15 % slower. The bin file plays fine with the PC player but when I try to burn it with CDRWin I get a problem. At the time I load its cue sheet into CDRWin I get an error popup with the following text:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Invalid CUE SHEET command at line xx.
Previous file is not multiple of the specified block size.
----------------------------------------------------------------
That previous file before line xx is the edited bin file.
Interestingly enough, I get no such error when I try to burn the unedited bin file. That's why I suspect this error is caused by the PK Sound Tool and CDRWin only reports it. Do I have to buy the PK burner utility to handle the output from the Sound Tool?
Any ideas about this?
