Anyone know if Pioneer drives can burn CD+G? the new version of Power CD+G burner can now burn on my 107 and 109 drives ... but no graphics.
www.padus.com tells me pioneer drives can do CD+G ... but the nero drive checker tool says no ... anyone have a solution?

What settings are you using when burning (ie. which options are checked in Settings dialog box)? Also what is the origin of files you are trying to burn? Are you copying them, downloading, or creating with PowerKaraoke?

burning files created in PowerKaraoke Plus ... using internal burning engine ... tried with all checkboxes off and on ... just burns the audio files.

I will try to get my hand on Pioneer 109 to verify this. Will post back next week.

You may try switching to CDRDao engine -- maybe it will make a difference. Are you testing your CDs in computer or in karaoke machine? You may use Power CD+G Player Pro (evaluation version) to test a CD in computer.

Also can you email me pcdgblog.txt file located in C:\Program Files\Doblon\Power CD+G Burner directory? It should help me to see what the problem is.

I have just burned a CD+G on Pioneer DVR-109 with default settings (Power CD+G Burner version is 1.2.1). I had no problems with the drive whatsoever -- connected it and burned away.

I had some reports that the drive has to be connected to computer in master mode. I cannot verify this, but you may give it a try.

I agree...

There should not be probs with the pioneer drives.

How are you testing your disk?

I have the new Pioneer 110 in master mode & it don't work! So maybe the 109 is the last one to support CD+G?

What exactly happens? This drive should support CD+G.

Could you please send us a log file created by Power CD+G Burner. It is cdgblog.txt file located in 'C:\Program Files\Doblon\Power CD+G Burner' directory. This will allow us to find what the problem might be.
