I've always downloaded karaoke music from the internet and used Alcohol 120% to burn the songs onto a CD to play on our karaoke machine, in the past. I recently purchased a new Dell laptop, though, and had software issues with Windows 7 and my old karaoke software so I purchase Karaoke CD+G Creator with the Power CD+G Burner.

Tonight, I walked through the tutorial and created a song, removed the vocals, and added the lyrics... and it worked perfectly in Karaoke CD+G Creator in preview mode. When I burn the bin file onto a CD+R using Power CD+G Creator and play it on my karaoke machine, though, I can only hear the music (can't see the lyrics).

In the past I've used only CD-R's... I just happened to run out and got CD+R's instead. Is there a difference in the two as to which I should use for this or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

What is the manufacturer name of the CD/DVD drive you are using to burn the discs?

I can't find that information in my Control Panel under Hardware (and it doesn't show on my laptop). It's just the default cd/dvd burner of a new Dell Studio 16 laptop. My last Dell (Inspiron E1505) burned karaoke cds fine so I think their cd/dvd burners should (hopefully) handle burning the information.

I just bought some CD-Rs and it didn't seem to help. The audio is fine, it's just the lyrics.

Please switch to CDRDao mode, and enable MMC_RAW driver in the Settings dialog box.
