Error, because of Windows 7?

Post by gtrplyr »

"Siglos Karaoke Professional has stopped working"

At first I was only getting the error when it was switching from one song to another; but now I get it as soon as I open the program.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling with no changes. I have also tried running it in compatibility mode with no luck. I have also tried deleting the database file.

I had been using an older laptop (XP), but REALLY want to have it work on a newer Windows 7 machine.

Any idea's?

Thanks in advance,
Aaron

The latest version - I even redownloaded it to make sure.

Please try running this registry script:

http://www.powerkaraoke.com/download/si ... efault.reg

It should revert all settings to default. If it does not help please delete siglos.db file from My Documents/My Karaoke.

Thanks!

That seemed to fix the problem.

The problem reoccurs when I change the font on the announcement screen. Only does it on a specific font (Buffied) - not a huge deal but thought I'd give you the update.

Thanks again for you help.

Is there a chance you could email us the font file? We would be able to fix the bug then.
