I had files that were cdg and mp3. I converted two files of the same name into one CD+G file to burn with Power cd+g burner. All of a sudden, my CD+G files have changed into Directx files. Don't know how this has happened but, how can I get them back to CD+G?

If you double click on one of them, does the program you want to use for playback open and play the file?

Yes, they play in Windows Media Player as I d/loaded Power CD+G Filter.

Windows displays these files as associated with Windows Media Player -- this is because you have installed filter. They are in fact CDG files, nothing else but the description has changed.

Thank you Admin. I was really frightened that my files may have been ruined and could not convert them back. Thanx for your help.
