Is the Plextor PX-W5224TA-IBP compatible with the Power CD+G Player Pro? I needed to know this info before I purchase this drive.
Thx

I am sorry but we have not tested this particular drive.
But you should have no problems with it, as our software works with most of the drives and with all of the Plextors.

You know. I'm new to karaoke and I didn't realize that drives were so picked about CD+G. Sheesh!
Thx!

You should be fine with LiteOn or Pioneer -- they are cheaper than Plextor and work just as well with our software (especially LiteOn -- I am using this drive and am amazed for quality to price value).

I forgot to login and had to use the verfication method on the 3rd post. I have a Pioneer DVR105 in my windows xp machine but I didn't think it was karaoke compatible. Hmm. #$%! I guess I should have asked you guys if the Pioneer was compatible with your software. I guess I assumed that since I can't extract tracks that it wasn't compatible. Wait. I have another question. I need to extract tracks to the bin format with the Pioneer DVR105. Is this possible? Thx
I also forget to say that I guess I ordered the Plextor because I needed to extract to bin format, burn cd+g, read cd+g and play cd+g using your player. You really have my excited since my Pioneer A05 is working perfectly with your software.

If you are able to play CD+Gs with Power CD+G Player Pro using Pioneer drive then you should have no problem extracting (and burning) it with Power CD+G Burner.
