Hello all, can anyone tell me what burner to buy to burn karaoke. I use to use plextors but they have gone downhill in their products, I've had to replace 5 of them in the last year so I dont want to use them anymore. I tried looking online but none of them say if they burn karaoke in their descriptions, I also called several places to ask the techs if they know but none can tell me so I am asking all of you on this fourm. thank you very much :D

I am using the one that came in my dell (TSSTcorp CDRW/DVD TSL4627) in this one and it works just fine for me using the program from Power Karaoke. I have had three Dells and all of them have worked without any issues.

In general, we recommend Pioneer and Plextor drives for CD+G format support, but as Dana48457's example show, many other brands can be used.

The best way to make sure the drive supports CD+G format properly is to test it with Power CD+G Burner.

as I said in my post, plextors are no good no more they don't last very long anymore because they are not made in the usa they are made somewhere in asia now. even though pioneer is not made here either they are a good brand to buy, I think I will just go to a store where I can try them all out to see which brand will work.
