I would love to be able to go to the song data base and click on a song and remove it from the data base so that it doesn't show up in future search. Some time I have a bad file or find that I have duplicate files and would love to be able to remove them with out going and deleting the song and then reload data base. Any one else that would like this idea let em know.

Dana, why would you need to reload the database if you deleted one bad song?

if you remove a song from the external hard drive and it is still in the data base, someone request to sing that song you add it to there list because it comes up in the search. click on play and you get a program that can't find the song and just sets there and normally you end up have to shut down and restart the program or having to have the singer wait while you find a different version of the song. This doesn't look good for the host. if you clean out a number of songs, like having them on your lap top and you move them to the External hard drive now you have them in the data base twice, but the program can't find them if they are in a singers history from before you moved then. Only way around this is to clear the data base and reload the songs. and when you do this you lose the singers history totally. I have a very large history on my singers and would hate to lose it.

if you name the replaced song the same, it will be found.
eg. you replace DKG01-01 - Madonna - Like A Virgin because it was corrupted.
re-rip it, and name it exactly the same way, and put it in the same folder you had the other one.
i have dome this numerous times and it works.

thanks for that info Paradigm. I will make note of the bad song and then once I get home I will replace it. Just have to keep me a good note pad handy.
