Get Help & Advice on Installing & Using Karaoke Software by Power Karaoke

I've been looking around for a Karaoke software solution. I've seen hoster, pdjc, swiftpro 2 etc

So far PowerKaraoke is my favorite

1) MTU Hoster - can't ask a any questions on their bbs unless you own the product. However I like this product. Lots of crashes referenced in the forum
2) pdjc - not ready for prime time. Klunky
3) Swift elite (justkaraoke) Website not updated since 2011 and forum has no entries since 2011. However seems to work ok

I know that a program like karaoke since it's live, crashing in the middle of a gig, and not being able to recover, is not cool. So I am looking to find out I suppose which application is the safest in this regard.

I also understand there are lots of things that would make this happen. Badly configured host computer, bad hardware, bad cd player. Any number of things.

Any comments?

Thanks

John

John, I've been using Karaoke Pro for years now and it only gets better. You will not be disappointed utilizing Karaoke Pro for your shows. The features just gets better and better. The tech support is in one word OUTSTANDING! Download the trial version and give it a test drive, I bet you won't be disappointed and it won't cost you a penny to try it out

Ditto the above post with the exception if you are a KJ take the Siglos Player Pro for a spin, great added needed features like the singers name, rotation, delay and other nice goodies!

It's been really wonderful to finally get the concept for which i was looking for. Thank you so much.

I very seldom have a crash. It hasn't happened in a while.. I like being able to play cdg discs, youtube videos, paperless request system via kiosk type operation through web devices, re sizable screens, custom messaging and scrolling. That is all the stuff I use, there is background music/videos that I haven't tried yet. Key changing, tempo changing. I can't think of anything it doesn't do that I need it to.
