Please forgive me I am very new to this kind of thing. I have been downloading zip files that consist of a MP3 and CDG. I would like to be able to put them on a usb to use with my karaoke machine. Emerson customer support said that I had to have a MP3G file and that my machine was not compatible with DVD's. Anyone have suggestions on what program and how to do this? I am dying to get this figured out for my 7 yr olds Karaoke Bday party in a couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance.

MP3G (MP3+G) is not a single file. It is a pair of two files: MP3+CDG. So what you have are zipped MP3G pair. If you karaoke machine does not support zip archive, you just need to unzip the pairs (using any software that supports zip archives), and then transfer the files to the USB.
